The First Nepali Graduate From The University of Cambridge

Dr Chiran Thapa gained his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the College of Pennsylvania, USA and his Masters degree in Economics from Trinity College, The University of Cambridge - where he was the first ever Nepali to gain admission.

He has since been awarded an honorary doctorate from the College of Pennsylvania in recognition of his incredible work and career, and has paved the way for many more Nepali graduates at The University of Cambridge
