We are seeking an IT Support Officer to join our team and provide technical assistance to our staff. You will be the first line of defense for resolving user queries, maintaining efficient IT systems, and ensuring a seamless technology experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and effectively to user inquiries via phone, email, or in-person support.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues.
- Maintain and repair computer equipment, peripherals, and software applications.
- Set up and configure desktops, printers, and user accounts.
- Perform routine computer maintenance tasks like installing updates and ensuring system stability.
- Assist with software and hardware upgrades to optimize performance.
- May participate in network testing to diagnose hardware/software related problems.
- Prepare data reports and presentations as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot common hardware/software issues.
- Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously, but also able to recognize when to ask for help.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
- Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges.
- Must have a good command of English communication both in writing and speaking.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology a plus.
