Rajen Kandel Appointed as PA Chairman of Top British School
We are very pleased to announce that Rajen Kandel, founder and CEO of The British College, has been elected as the Chairman of the Parent Association for one of the best grammar schools in the whole of the UK, Newstead Wood School, Orpington.
Running since 1954, the school has established itself as a world-class education provider, ranking as the 11th best school in London. Teaching students from the ages of 11 to 17, the school is nationally and internationally renowned for catering to the needs of exceptionally gifted children. As such, it is a great honour that they have asked Rajen Kandel to Chair the Parent Association and a reflection of how much they appreciate his expertise in the field of education.
With regards to this new appointment, Rajen said, ‘I am very honoured to have been asked to work with such a highly ranked school, and I look forward to seeing the positive changes that I can implement, as I support and guide the parents association. At Newstead Wood School they believe fully in embracing fundamental British values - which reflects how I run all of my own educational establishments: providing British qualifications and world-class education.”
This comes at a time of great change and development for Mr Kandel, who has recently acquired two new establishments in Nepal - Namaste Academy and Motherland School. These will become a part of The British Education Group, which incorporates The British College along with institutes in both Dubai and The UK.
