Mr Rajen Kandel, the Founder and CEO of The British Education Group (BEG), which incorporates The British College (TBC), has been named ‘MD of the Year’ by the prestigious SME News IT Awards 2024 which were held in London, UK.
SME News is a UK-based publication and their annual IT awards are aimed at celebrating those who are making a real change in the industry. SME News prides itself on the validity of its awards which are only given to those most deserving for their entrepreneurship and hard work which sets them apart from their competitors and proves them worthy of such recognition. All winners have been chosen for the positive impact they have made on the corporate landscape, so it’s a great honour for Mr Kandel to be recognised for his contribution to the International Education Sector.
Speaking of this award he said, “I started my career as an IT manager and now I partner with some of the top universities in the world to deliver IT courses, along with a host of other programmes, to students in four different continents. This year alone we are providing courses in partnership with the University of Greenwich University, UK and acquired the prestigious Maritime Business College in Canada. So this recognition means a lot to me and is just the start of many new things to come”.
