BMC Welcomes Mr. Lee Russell Wilkes as the New A Level Programme Manager
British Model College would like to warmly welcome the new A Level Programme Manager Mr. Lee Russell Wilkes. Mr. Wilkes is an expert in teaching English Language and has additional experience in teacher training, examining and mentoring.
In 2010, he worked on a pre-academic English programme at a privately run institution in the UK that also ran MBA and ACCA courses. He has taught general and business English, Pearson Test of English (PTE) and IELTS. In 2011 he worked at a university in Thailand where he was responsible for leading, writing and delivering multiple courses to undergraduates and supporting a team of teachers with varying degrees of experience.
At the end of 2013 he worked in Spain preparing university students to sit Cambridge First Certificate in English, the Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English and the Cambridge Proficiency Exam. From 2015-2018, he worked for British Council Myanmar on a World Bank sponsored programme, teaching general English to civil servants at the Ministry of Finance.
As A level Programme Manager at British Model College, he is going to support students through their academic programmes and the extra-curricular activities helping them in making life-changing and career shaping choices. Mr. Wilkes is very passionate about the transformative power of A level study, the importance of making the right career choices and ensuring that all students fully achieve their personal and academic goals.
Mr. Wilkes has come to BMC as it offers a wide-range of internationally recognized Cambridge University A levels allowing students to specialize in their chosen area of academic study. These choices prepare students for degree level study and professional life. British Model College offers Cambridge International Education AS and A Levels specifically for allowing students to study at high-level universities abroad and gain internationally recognized qualifications.
Mr. Wilkes emphasizes the importance of A level study and the doors that these choices will open for our students. A levels will allow them to study subjects that inspire and fascinate them. A levels provide an invaluable basis for higher academic study and careers in many challenging and rewarding areas.
