Every year BMC takes its international students on an international tour and this year they went to Dubai! 

From the 8th to the 15th January 2024, 22 AS & A Level students went on a fun packed tour to learn about the history, culture and ethnicity of the UAE. This included a visit to the Emirates, Ferrari World Theme Park, the Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Mall where students got to see an Aquarium and Fountain show. During their trip they also got to enjoy a camel ride, belly dancing show, dune bashing, Henna Tattoo and of course lots of shopping.

So let's hear all about it from A2 student, Aayusha Sunuwar… . 

Hi Aayusha! So, this was your first time in Dubai! How was it? 

My week in Dubai was a surreal blur, filled with unbelievable first-time experiences.

Wow, so what did you do?

From boarding a plane to a different country, riding an ATV in the desert, and witnessing crystal-clear waves on the beach, to navigating the metro and braving the world's fastest roller coaster – every moment was thrilling. 

And where did you stay?

Our hotel near Deira City Center Mall served as our main base, with the mall itself becoming a maze we happily explored. 

And what was so special about the trip as a whole?

As a high schooler, family vacations were the norm, but sharing this adventure with friends made it truly memorable and special, making the inevitable departure for Nepal quite unwanted!
