At the British Model College, we believe that the role of ECA is crucial in our students’ holistic development. In line with this, we recently held our “BMC Annual Sports Meet 2023”, with almost 100 enthusiastic A-Level students taking part . 

Taking place from 5th - 10th February, the event saw a number of varied activities, including big team sports such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, and futsal - as well as table tennis, foosball, chess, carrom board, arm wrestling, fun games,esports - and there was even a photography competition. 

At our Grand Opening Ceremony, the newly appointed Deputy Principal of The British College, Dr. Patrick McCrudden from the UK, uplifted our spirits with encouraging words of teamwork and sportsmanship. Likewise, our Closing & Awards Ceremony had the distinguished presence of one Nepal’s most renowned sportsmen, Mr. Deepak Bista, a martial arts multiple gold medalist who delighted us with his words and received our students’ standing ovation.

This year, the Big Trophy stayed with the Dragon Team (As Science), who scored a total of 90 points. Following them were Team Stallion (A2 Science) with 69 points, Team Eagle (AS Non-Science) with 56 points, and Team Leo (A2 Non-Science) with 36 points.

We proudly salute each and all of our warriors who made this event such a grand success, reminding them that the biggest opponent is our own fears, and that the competition is always against our old selves.
