Student Excellence Award Winner’s Feedback
This year for the first time, four students were awarded with the Certificate of Excellence at the graduation Ceremony. Given in recognition of excellent achievement in academic work as well as extracurricular activities, the four lucky recipients were graduates Ayush Shrestha (BBA) , Rakshya Lama Moktan (BSc (Hons) Computing), Yukta Joshi (MBA), and Sweta Kapali (Msc IT). And here two off them tell us exactly how it felt!
Yukta Joshi (MBA)
My journey here at TBC has been educational both professionally and personally. It has given me memories to cherish for a lifetime. Even though reaching our destination involved going through waves of Covid-19, lockdown, and online classes, these turbulent times have taught us that there is nothing we cannot achieve if we put our mind to it.
These experiences and relationships that we have built will be something I am sure all of us will keep close to our hearts - because what we learned in the classrooms were not just management lessons, they were also lessons on life.
Receiving the Excellence Award during my graduation was quite a surprise, but also equally wholesome because thanks to TBC, all of my hard work and dedication throughout my programme proved to be worth it. I believe that the College’s efforts will help make me turn myself into a better professional.
Ayush Shrestha (BBA)
It is indeed hard to put this feeling into words. To be honest, receiving this award was no child's play as I encountered and resolved a number of challenging issues throughout these four years - not to mention the imperative deadlines that needed to be met.
Nevertheless, I was able to triumph over every challenge by gradually and consistently persevering, which ultimately led me to securing The British College scholarship. And this journey has been incredibly remarkable - from becoming a champion at the Ace Spectrum to taking home the Third British Cup.
I consider receiving this Student Excellence Award to be a true privilege. My teachers' acknowledgement of my efforts is a great honour to me. And receiving this honor will only spur me on to greater achievement in the future.
