From BMC to TBC: Continuing Your Journey With an Undergraduate Degree
In books, dreams can often be achieved with magic, a little hope, or a chance encounter. In real life, there’s a lot more involved in attaining your dreams. Whether this is a fortunate challenge you want to meet head-on or a slightly unfortunate turn of events, there is a common theme: university can be so much more than a pipe dream.
There are over 25,000 universities in the world, each one boasting specialised locations, subjects, faculties, and student groups. But when there are 25,000 choices, what can help a person choose what’s possibly the most overwhelming choice of their educational lives?
The base reason for choosing to go to university can be narrowed down to something as small as it simply furthers a person’s education. However it can be much more - such as the chance to see the world while learning a more advanced skill set, a means to escape the life you’ve had up until this point or a means of security for unsure people as the structure provides much safety for many.
Nepal is home to fourteen universities. At The British College, Nepal, education is specialised, and heaped with opportunities, with a very inclusive application process for students both from Nepal and internationally. And after completing eighteen years of exams, a degree at The British College is designed to enhance that final stretch of a student’s education.
At TBC we have four undergraduate degrees you can choose to progress to should you get the right grades in your A Levels. We have BBA (Hons) in Business and Management, BSc (Hons) in Hospitality Business Management (BHM), and BSc (Hons) in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics - plus we offer an ACCA programme. We also offer different kinds of scholarships for exceptional circumstances which can often be the golden ticket some people need to further their education.
However, it is not all learning! Need a little fun in between? In past years, The British College has hosted a Christmas fiesta for students, parents, and stakeholders! There are also sports tournaments and ceremonies to recognise students' achievements.
Often, university-level institutions either don’t have the staff, budget, or time for exposure visits or events like these due to the large number of students coming in each year. At The British College, however, the student body is smaller, making the education more specific, allowing more time to be given to each and every student, and permitting trips like these to go ahead.
So, if you’re someone who wants that little extra care within your education, it’s really something to consider. This is an institution that stands out against other universities for the time it has and gives to its students. So whether your future is in accounting, business, entrepreneurship, IT, Hospitality, or Cyber Security - The British College can equip you with that specialised degree you need!
