As we say goodbye to 2022 and enter into a New Year, we encourage you to make one of your top New Years' resolutions prioritising your mental health. And so to help you along, we have put together some top tips about how to get started and even included a guide to personal assessment. So read on to make sure that 2023 is your happiest and healthiest yet.
How can you improve your mental health in the New Year?
- Get enough sleep
- Pay attention to your feelings
- Spend time in nature
- Pursue a hobby
- Laugh often
- Grieve your losses
- Accept yourself, your imperfections and all
- Ask for help: You’re not superman or superwomen
- Spend less time in front of electronics
- Connect with friends and family
- Try to do things because you want to, not out of obligation
- Practice gratitude daily
- Express your feelings
- Surround yourself with positive people

- Compliment your body daily
- Remember it’s healthy to say “no” sometimes
