Our much-anticipated four-day ACCA programme excursion, held from 10th to 13th March 2025, was nothing short of a breathtaking adventure—a perfect blend of thrill, exploration, and unforgettable moments. Do you know what it truly means when someone says, “I feel like I am in the lap of nature?” If not, join me on this journey, as I have just experienced its majestic essence firsthand. I’ll be retracing the soul-stirring experiences of the four-day tour organised by The British College, filled with endless memories, moments of peace and bliss amid nature’s splendour, and the discovery of Nepal’s scenic gems.

Day One: Chakupat – Ripples and Reflections of Trishuli – Majesty of the Australian Base Camp

As the golden hues of dawn painted the sky in mesmerising shades, our journey on 10th March 2025 commenced most spectacularly. We embarked on this exhilarating expedition from Chakupat by bus, with excitement at its peak. The camaraderie among friends, the music playing in the background, and everything else made the journey feel magical. After a four-hour panoramic drive, we arrived at the Trishuli Riverside Resort, where we indulged in a delectable and lavish lunch. Without delay, we swiftly boarded the bus and embarked on a non-stop five-hour journey. Upon arrival at Kande, we took a brief respite and enjoyed some snacks, which reinvigorated us for the upcoming hike to the Australian Base Camp. Reaching the base camp after a one-and-a-half-hour hike, we rejoiced in a sumptuous barbecue, basked in the warmth of a crackling campfire, had a delightful dinner, and enjoyed enchanting musical performances under the starlit sky. It was the perfect end to a mesmerising day full of togetherness and countless memories.

Day Two: Sacred and Radiant Kalika Bhagwati Temple – Kusma’s Cliffside Serenity – Pokhara’s Charm and Bliss

The second day began with a glorious sunrise that forged an intimate connection with nature’s magnificence. After savouring a wholesome breakfast, we bid farewell to the base camp and set off on our journey. Our next destination was the Kalika Bhagwati Temple. After a short drive, we reached the temple, where we sought divine blessings, experiencing a truly overwhelming sense of sacred and spiritual fulfilment. Next, we arrived at Kusma—The Cliff Resort—where we were served a hearty lunch. Then came the time for an afternoon filled with thrilling adventures. We were provided with the opportunity to take part in daring pursuits such as wall climbing, giant swings, and, without a doubt, the undeniable highlight of the day: bungee jumping. Many of us seized the chance to experience the world’s second-highest bungee jump—an electrifying and thrilling vibe that truly redefined adventure. Subsequently, we proceeded to Pokhara, where once again, we relished flavourful snacks. Honestly, I am left speechless when it comes to describing the sheer magic of that night—the vibrant clubbing experience, the mesmerising lakeside, and the entire atmosphere turned out to be the perfect setting, making an unforgettable conclusion to another extraordinary day.

Day Three: Waterfall (Jalbire Jharana) Serenity – Barhasinge Factory Insights – Trishuli Riverside Bliss

The third day commenced with a hearty breakfast, which energised us for the day’s exciting journey. As the day progressed, we indulged in an opulent lunch. Our next stop was a mesmerising waterfall—the Jalbire Jharana, a true epitome of nature’s beauty. The fast-flowing water, accompanied by the soothing symphony of nature, created an ambience of unparalleled serenity. We spent invaluable time there, completely immersed in the breathtaking scenery, living the moment to the fullest. Following this tranquil experience, we visited the Barhasinge Factory, explored it, and found it truly fascinating. We gained many insights, and the experience turned out to be thoroughly enjoyable. As the sun began its descent, we made our way once again to the picturesque Trishuli Riverside Resort, drawn by the call of the flowing waters. There, we were served rich cuisine as snacks. Additionally, there was a dynamic DJ session where everyone grooved to the beats and enjoyed themselves to the fullest. The day wrapped up with a sumptuous dinner, and each of us was elegantly embraced by the soothing presence of the river.

Day Four: Waves, Colours, Memories: A Day of Rafting, Holi, and Homecoming

The fourth day began with a delightful breakfast. Brimming with excitement, many of us eagerly geared up for the thrilling experience of rafting, closely embracing the thrill of navigating the wild waters—an experience that left the students surprised and exhilarated. Subsequently, we immersed ourselves in the vibrant festivities of Holi. The resort buzzed with electrifying music, and we were completely drenched in colours and splashes of water. Laughter, fun, and celebration filled the atmosphere, creating a defining moment with countless unforgettable memories. Thereafter, we took some time to refresh before embarking on our journey back home.

As the tour came to a close, it was undeniably difficult to accept that this extraordinary journey had ended. As the bus rolled along the route, we reminisced about all the incredible experiences we had during the entire tour. Though the tour has concluded, the laughter, thrills, and chills we shared will forever remain engraved in our hearts. I would like to thank all our teachers and my friends for making this tour so special and for all the lifelong memories we created throughout. Your support and unwavering spirit of togetherness transformed every moment into something magical, something remarkable. The excitement for the next adventure is already building. I’m truly eager to be a part of the next ACCA programme tour. These beautiful days of my life are nothing short of extraordinary—unforgettable moments and cherished bonds crafted with my dearest companions.

The tour was truly spellbinding, adventurous, nostalgic, everlasting, and unquestionably worthwhile. I would rate this tour an unparalleled 1000 out of 100, and it will forever remain a beautiful and golden chapter etched in the pages of my life.
